01Who we are
Aurix FX Corporation (“AurixFX”, “we”, “us”) is a Canadian company based in Calgary, Alberta. We introduce businesses to Ebury Partners Canada Limited (“Ebury”) and manage the client relationship. Ebury is registered with FINTRAC as a money services business (Reg. No. M17949017) and licensed by Revenu Québec (Licence No. 12062). Ebury provides the foreign exchange and payment services.
This policy applies to aurixfx.com, our emails and calls, and our relationships with prospective and existing clients. We are responsible for the personal information we collect for our own purposes, described below. When we collect onboarding and transaction information on Ebury’s behalf, Ebury is responsible for it, and the Ebury Group Privacy Notice applies.
02Information we collect
- Enquiries. When you use our contact form: first and last name, company, work email, telephone number and your message.
- Newsletter. Your email address and a record of when you gave consent.
- Guide downloads. Your name and work email address.
- Job applications. Your name, email, telephone number and LinkedIn profile (both optional), résumé, cover note, the role you applied for, and your consent.
- Calls and correspondence. Emails you send us and recordings of telephone calls (see section 5).

- To respond to your enquiries and requests.
- To send our newsletter, if you have subscribed.
- To provide the guides you request and follow up on that request.
- To assess job applications.

We do not use your information for any other purpose without your consent, unless the law permits or requires it.
04Consent
By submitting a form or contacting us, you consent to our using your information as described here. We ask for express consent before adding you to our newsletter. You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or writing to privacy@aurixfx.com. Withdrawing consent may limit our ability to provide some services.
05Call recording
We record telephone calls with prospective and existing clients. We will tell you at the start of each call. Recordings are used to confirm instructions, resolve disputes, train staff, and meet our regulatory and contractual obligations. Ebury may review recordings to monitor the quality and compliance of the service.
06Who we share it with
- Ebury and its affiliates, to provide and administer the foreign exchange and payment services.
- Our service providers, such as website hosting, form processing, web fonts (Google), email and customer-relationship software. They may use your information only to provide services to us, under contract.

- A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or reorganized, under equivalent privacy protections.
We do not sell personal information.
07Information stored outside Canada
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Canada, primarily in the United States. This includes our website host, which stores form submissions in the United States, and Google, which serves the fonts on our website and receives your IP address when a page loads. Ebury and its group companies may process information outside Canada as described in Ebury’s Group Privacy Notice. If you live in Québec, your information may be transferred outside Québec.
Information held outside Canada is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its authorities. To ask about our policies and practices for service providers outside Canada, contact our Privacy Officer.
08How long we keep it
| Information | Retention |
|---|---|
| Client relationship and programme records, including call recordings | At least 6 years, or longer where the law requires |
| Enquiries and guide requests that do not lead to a client relationship | 24 months after our last contact |
| Newsletter subscriptions | Until you unsubscribe |
| Job applications | 6 months, unless you are hired |
When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
09How we protect it
We use physical, organizational and technical safeguards suited to the sensitivity of the information. Access is limited to people who need it, and our website uses encrypted connections. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the relevant privacy regulators as the law requires.
10Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights. Québec residents, for example, may ask about our transfers of information outside Québec.
Email privacy@aurixfx.com. We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first. If your request concerns information Ebury holds, we will pass it to Ebury and tell you we have done so.
11Contact and complaints
Our Privacy Officer is accountable for our compliance with this policy.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta, or, in Québec, the Commission d’accès à l’information.
