The role
You will build and manage a book of corporate FX and payments clients — finding businesses with cross-border exposure, understanding it properly, and bringing them onto the platform.
The difference between this role and the Director seat is scope, not quality: you carry a book and a target, without responsibility for building the function or eventually leading the team. It suits someone with solid B2B financial services sales experience who wants to move into FX properly, or someone already in FX sales who wants a larger book than a bank hierarchy will give them. Commission is uncapped.
Responsibilities
- Own a revenue target and build a book of corporate clients
- Generate pipeline through outbound work, referrals, professional networks, and inbound demand
- Run structured discovery on a prospect's currency exposure, payment flows, and banking arrangements
- Quantify the cost of a prospect's current arrangement using their own numbers, and present it plainly
- Work with the dealing desk to propose appropriate spot, forward, and payment solutions
- Shepherd clients through onboarding alongside compliance
- Maintain and grow existing relationships — most revenue growth in this business comes from clients you already have
- Keep pipeline data accurate and current
Requirements
- Four or more years in B2B financial services sales — FX, payments, treasury services, commercial banking, or a comparable consultative sale
- A record of meeting revenue targets in a role where you sourced your own pipeline
- Working understanding of foreign exchange, or clear evidence you can acquire it quickly and rigorously
- Confidence dealing with finance and operations decision-makers
- Persistence and organisation. The cycle runs in months, the follow-up is where deals are won, and remote work rewards people who structure their own day
- Sound judgement on how a regulated product is described in a sales conversation
- Strong written and verbal communication
Assets
- Direct corporate FX or cross-border payments experience
- Sector knowledge in import/export, manufacturing, professional services, technology, or e-commerce
- An existing network among mid-market finance leaders
- CRM fluency
Why this role is worth your time
A larger book and a shorter reporting line than the equivalent seat at a bank, with real access to the dealing desk and to product decisions. If you have wanted to move from generalist financial services sales into FX, this is a legitimate route in.
Compensation and benefits
- $60,000–$80,000 base, plus uncapped commission and discretionary bonus
- A competitive benefits package covering health and wellbeing
- Paid time off and wellness support
- Fully remote working
- Support for continued professional development
- The tools and equipment to do the work properly
About AurixFX
AurixFX is a foreign exchange and cross-border payments firm built for businesses that operate across currencies. We provide spot and forward contracts, international and mass payments, trade finance support, and practical guidance on managing currency exposure — for importers and exporters, companies paying overseas suppliers and contractors, and firms carrying foreign-currency revenue, debt, or subsidiaries.
Our clients are finance and treasury teams at mid-market businesses: expert in their own industry, and frequently underserved by institutions that treat foreign exchange as a transaction rather than a decision. We compete on judgement — pricing that withstands scrutiny, execution that doesn't need chasing, and advice specific enough to act on.
We are a growing team working through established banking and payment partnerships, and we hold ourselves to institutional standards of execution and compliance while moving at the pace of a small firm. Roles here are broad by design: the person doing the job generally owns the whole of it, and has a direct hand in how the function is built.
